I feel like a bit of a traitor posting this here, but the fact is, my blog is actually to be found at pammcrae.blogspot.com. When I was beginning this enterprise, I messed around here and there and ended up on blogspot. No particular reason, but I have a lot of stuff there about my experiences with adoption (I am both a “birth” mother and an adoptive mother, so I have mucho perspective). I figure the only coin I have is my story, so I’m putting it out there in the hopes that the truth about the cost of adoption to the people who have lived it will be acknowledged and appropriate reforms undertaken. One story alone won’t be sufficient, which is why I believe the mothers of the BSE (over a million of us) need to leave the silence and the secrecy, and most of all the shame behind us, once and for all.
